Flight has been a passion of mine from the first moment I saw an airplane, and I am excited to help you discover that same passion.

The flight school at Twin Oaks Airpark caters to students that value one-on-one learning with instructors that take the time to tailor lessons to their students’ individual learning styles and needs.

As a Certified Flight Instructor, I offer the following courses of instruction and additional services:

  • Single-Engine Airplane Private and Commercial Pilot Courses
  • Multiengine Airplane Private and Commercial Pilot Courses
  • Instrument Airplane Rating Course
  • Flight Reviews
  • Instrument Proficiency Checks
  • Checkout Flights for Renting at Twin Oaks Airpark
  • Skill Building Flights
  • Do you need a safety pilot for simulated instrument flight? Instrument proficiency is CRITICAL for instrument pilots, and I will ride along with you for FREE1 to help you stay proficient and safe!

Flight instruction at Twin Oaks Airpark offers:

  • A family environment. The Stark family has operated Twin Oaks since 1972. They are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and are almost always there to personally help.
  • Affordable instruction. My instruction fee is $702,3 / hour, and Twin Oaks offers competitive rental prices for their aircraft. Aircraft rental prices include fuel.
  • Great training aircraft. Twin Oaks has a fleet of well-maintained and well-equipped aircraft to meet the needs of all of their students. Whether you are just starting out, working on a Commercial Pilot license, an instrument rating, or adding on a multi-engine rating, Twin Oaks has an airplane for you.

1. Will not count as instrument instruction. Limited to one flight per month.
2. Price current as of Sep. 13, 2026 and subject to change.
